Tomorrow is the OFFICIAL DAY 1, folks!
I met with my nutritionist today and received my menu. But, because our meeting was late in the day, I can't start until tomorrow. I gotta say, it seems like A LOT of food I have to eat.
Here it is (with examples):
Meal 1
3.00 servings starch (1 bagel)
0.05 servings fat-saturated (low-fat cream cheese)
Snack 1
2.00 servings starch (12 saltines)
2.00 servings meat-lean (2 oz low-fat cheddar cheese)
1.00 servings fruit (orange)
Meal 2
2.00 servings starch (2.5 slices white bread)
2.00 servings meat-very lean (2 oz deli smoked turkey)
1.00 servings meat-lean (1 oz low-fat American cheese)
2.00 servings fruit (apple)
Snack 2
2.00 servings starch (12 saltines)
3.00 servings meat-very lean (3 oz tuna in water)
2.00 servings starch (18 baked Lays chips)
Meal 3
1.00 servings starch (dinner roll)
2.00 servings starch (.8 cup pasta shells)
2.50 servings meat-lean (2.5 oz roasted chicken breast)
0.50 servings fat-polyunsaturated (.5 Tbsp light margarine)
1.00 servings vegetable (.5 cup green beans)
80 - 100 ounces of water daily
Whew!! That's a lot of food. I'm supposed to eat every 2 - 4 hours.
I have to change my goal weight, too. Here are my stats:
Total Weight: 343
Fat Weight: 178.4
Lean Body Mass: 164.6
See that last number? That's my new goal - 165. If I were to go lower than that, I would be losing muscle. I really do have big bones!
I have to workout 3 days a week - weight training and cardio. This program is structured for fat loss and muscle maintenance. If you just need more information, CLICK HERE.
So, tomorrow it's DAY 1...
